Shipping & Policies

✦ HANDLING TIMES 

Please allow 2 - 5 business days for your order to be processed and shipped out to you. This excludes weekends and public holidays.

 

✦ SHIPPING TIMES ✦

The following shipping times are general estimates based on feedback from previous customer experience.

◦ UK / Domestic: 1 - 5 business days after shipment

◦ United States (Mainland Only): 5 - 14 business days after shipment

◦ Europe: 1 - 6 weeks after shipment

◦ Worldwide: 2 - 8 weeks after shipment

The 2 - 8 week timeframe is due to the fact that shipping times can vary greatly from country to country, from region to region within that country, and even from post office to post office. In some cases a package makes it through the postal system smoothly and arrives at around 2 weeks, some times before if you're lucky, and in other cases it can take 6 or 8 weeks. This could be because of delays at customs, delays due to weather, delays to other factors, such as Covid disruption for example, among others. 

Once I have mailed your item(s) I cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping time as this is out of my control. I do not offer refunds for delayed / late delivery, please make sure you are aware and comfortable with the shipping times before purchase. Thank you for your understanding. 

✦ EU CUSTOMERS 

All EU customers please note that I am unable to get my own IOSS number and charge you VAT at checkout. This means that you will be charged the 20% VAT when the items arrive in your country, and more than likely a handling fee on top of this. If the items you would like to buy are also in my etsy store you can purchase them there to avoid this additional handling fee. Please be aware of this before purchase.

✦ SHIPPING METHODS 

All orders will be shipped using Royal Mail

UK domestic customers can choose from standard (2nd class) shipping which does not come with tracking, or signed for shipping which will include a tracking number.

International customers can choose from international standard shipping which does not come with tracking, or international tracked shipping which will include a tracking number.

TRACKING

All orders from the United States (mainland only) now come with a tracking number as standard

For all other international orders tracked shipping can be selected as a shipping method at checkout.

Please note that if you do not choose a tracked shipping method there is no way to check on the current location of your order. I also will have no information regarding your order status as tracking is needed for this. This is the risk with standard shipping. For the most part this shipping option is reliable, but patience is needed during the delivery time as there is no way to check on the status of your order, please keep this is mind when choosing your shipping option at checkout. If you want faster shipping and peace of mind please choose tracked shipping.

FREE SHIPPING

◦ UK customers will receive free standard shipping on orders over £20

◦ International customers will receive free standard shipping on orders over £50

This free shipping does not come with a tracking number (except if you are from mainland US) but you can also choose tracked shipping for a reduced price at checkout when spending £50 or more.

 

✦ RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS 

If you decide you would like to cancel your order and it has not yet been sent to you, I am happy to cancel and refund. However I cannot cancel or refund orders that have already been shipped to you.

 

✦ RETURNED PACKAGES ✦

I will not be held responsible for lost packages if the delivery address the customer has provided is incorrect, please ensure your address is entered properly and up to date before placing your order.

If the package is returned to me due to wrong address provided or because it was unclaimed, the buyer is responsible for the shipping cost to resend the package. Alternatively I can refund the cost of the order minus the shipping fee.

If your package is returned to me for an unknown reason where the postal service has not provided any information and it is a fault on their part, then I will resend the order to you.

 

✦ WRONG OR DAMAGED ITEMS ✦

If the items that arrived with you are incorrect I'm so sorry for the mistake. Please send photos of the incorrect items and I will send out the correct ones to you afterwards.

If your order has arrived damaged please send photos of the damaged items as I need these to make a claim with the postal service. I will then send you a replacement or a refund if you prefer.

BENT PIN POSTS

I won't replace pins if they arrive with bent posts as this can easily be fixed. Pins are quite sturdy but the posts do occasionally get bent on their journey to you. The posts can easily be straightened with a pair of pliers, just use these to gently move the post back in to a straight position.

 

✦ LOST OR UNDELIVERED PACKAGES ✦

If you think your package is lost, before contacting me please check with your local post office and neighbours to see if your package is there. Often the package is either being returned to sender or waiting at your post office due to a failed delivery attempt where the postal worker was unable to leave the package. These problems are issues with the postal service and although I'll try to help, I only have access to the same information as you.

I have to give 8 weeks for international orders and 2 weeks for UK orders from the day the package was sent for the order to be considered lost. I have sent replacements before this time limit in the past, only for the original order to show up with the customer shortly after. If this time has passed please contact me. Thank you for understanding.

 

✦ CUSTOMS ✦

All international orders are shipped with a customs form which declares the contents and value of the package. I am not responsible for any import duties, taxes, VAT, or other fees which may be incurred when the package reaches its destination country, all charges must be paid by the customer.  I will not refund the shipping cost of packages returned to me due to unpaid fees. Please make sure you are familiar and comfortable with your own country's customs regulations before placing your order.
